Description
n this SD course you will learn how finished goods and commodities are handled in a consignment process, i.e. where the goods which are sent to the customer are still owned by the company until the customer sells them to a third party. The materials which are normally retained in stock by the customer are posted in the stock(consignment stock) which is allocated to the relevant customer. This makes it possible to see the customer’s current stock at all times. The course includes the following stages: Consignment fill-up where the customer’s consignment stock is filled up. Consignment issue which takes place when the customer sells your materials to a third party, and Consignment pick-up which takes place when material from the customer’s consignment stock is returned, for example if it is not sold within the allocated sales period.
